  • Tasted double blind from a small capped bottle (wine divided for zoom tasting). Nose of apple, cumin and sponti, spice and chalk and minerals, peach. Palate is crisp with high acid apple skins and some lemon lime. Finish is long and dry with apple skins. Nose - 5.5/6, Palate - 5/6, Finish - 5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1-1.5/2 = 16.5-17/20.

Day 2: just a bit left. Peachy and apricot and stony - really potent on the nose. Peach pit. Like a Smaragd but lighter in hue - with crisp mosel flavors. Really minerally. Apple skins. Great nose. I could smell this all night. So bright and sharp. Just as good on the palate - peach and apple skins with a lemon component in the background. Potent and wicked - great depth with butter peach pits and apple skins and crushed rocks and salt. Long salty peach pit finish. Damn this is good. Thanks Jayson! Nose - 5.5/6, Palate - 5.5/6, Finish - 5-5.5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1.5/2 = 17.5-18/20.
