  The nose is all reduction and petrol. The palate features pretty classic Riesling notes of peach, apricot, and some citrus with a silky mouthfeel. Medium sweet but with just enough acidity to keep it in check.

  Drinks great right now. Delightful example of a Mosel spatlese. Who cares if it is way too young? - it tastes great

  Overpriced in the $50 range. Don't get me wrong, it's tasty: the funky petrol, macaroni, and sweet tarts somehow stay in harmony, and there's just enough acid to carry off the amped-up sweetness. I guess I just expected more zing or complexity or length. Or something. There's far better German Riesling at this price.
