Probably the pick of the wines for me. 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot. Complex nose of dark berries and plums, cocoa, char and spice. Palate has an elegance and a smoothness, red and black berries, lovely tannin weight and balance. A touch of bay leaf, tobacco and cedar too. Very nice wine.

Deep and rich aroma, berries. Smells elegant. Smooth on pallet although short after taste. Tannin still present a few more years

Good, easy drinking as merlot softens a lot .

Qantas Winter Wine Festival (Town Hall, Sydney): Slightly herbaceous blackcurrant, saline, plums, cedar. Juicy, tangy, wet black currant and muted plum with silky drying tannins. Perfectly pleasant
