45 min decant. V - Clear deep ruby with medium meniscus and high viscosity. N - Raspberry, vanilla, coffee, cocoa. With some tomato leaf. P - Primarily dark fruit. Plum, blackberry with black raspberry. Oaky notes less on the palate, but there is a bit of smoke. complexity became deeper with time out in the air. Full bodied with Med acidity but still high level of fine-grained tannins. Med+ length.

Some of the sharp edges from the 2019 tasting note have worn down. Blackberry, black cherry, powdery cocoa, a touch of herbal, perhaps anise. Acidity is still going strong, minerals, and tannins all there, just a bit more integrated.

One of the best Zinfandels I’ve had in a while. Not overly fruity with great minerality. Full finish.

Smoke, meat, violets; strangely lacking in fruit. Tannins softening and a spicy finish.

Must be in a dumb phase, greatly underwhelming. Love the producer, but this didn't do it for me
