My previous rating was 91, but this last one seemed deeper. Nose of red fruit, licorice, tar, coffee. Palate was black cherry and black currant with tobacco and tar. Could have even rated it higher.

Gramercy Cellars Grenache Comparison; 12/9/2020-12/11/2020 (Seattle, Washington): Pale ruby – crushed rock, wet gravel, black cherry, blueberry syrup, spice, blackberry, cinnamon; additional notes as the wine was open – violets, dark spices. Medium acid, medium tannins, 14.4% ABV, medium body, medium- intensity, medium finish. Paired nicely with Boursin® Shallot & Chive Gournay Cheese stuffed chicken breast.
I drank this after a bottl of a’Maurice Boushey Vineyard Grenache- very different but both delicious.
This wine was a heavier bodied wine with earthiness, darker fruit and depth. A little green on the nose, but absolutely mouthwatering. Paired very well with a Mexican chicken, rice and black bean entree.

W choucroute. Good combo. This is very good. Excellent fruit, body and length. Great red fruitupon opening but after a few hours open it really rounded amd got darker. Yummy very good wine that can handle a sturdy wintery meal.
