Good ruby colour, which has lost all its youth, but isn't yet showing too much maturity. Quite a subtle nose: lots of sweet vanilla, some milkiness, a touch of garriguey herbs and soft red fruit. Very attractive palate. There's a nice freshness and brightness with soft red fruit, almost completely integrated tannins, a very attractive sour red fruit and kernel flavour, and impressive length. Interesting and easy drinking. Excellent VFM.

Excellent wine. From memory: red cherry and spice dominate. Layered and polished while being quite light on it's feet. Quality wise, somewhere between a Terre Nere 'normale' and their single Cru bottlings. For 8€ representative of one of the best quality to price ratios I've ever found. Definitely worth the money to upgrade over their 4€-5€ bottlings. Wish I could find this in the states.
