Deep nose of lemon, pear, brioche, hazelnut, and acacia. Rich palate shows a Meurseult like quality with a chalky, salty minerality sticking in the long finish. Ripe honeydew on the front palate. Does not taste cheap. Elegant

Second bottle of this vintage and vineyard of Gran Moraine. As noted, this is an excellent Chardonnay which reminds one of a Premier Cru Meursault. I have subsequently purchased a mixed case of 2015-2017 Gran Moraine. I will reserve the remaining bottle of 2015 for a couple of years to see how it evolves.

Meursault-like. Completely fooled the husband and would have fooled me. Definitely one of the most Burgundian OR chardonnays I've had. MUST. FIND. MORE.

Excellent Oregon Chardonnay that is very reminiscent of a premier cru Meursault. Citrus, touch of vanilla, excellent acidity mid-range and finish. Served with lemon chicken and it is excellent with food or alone. Look forward to more bottles of this wine.

Sunfish Cellars Burgundy & Oregon Tasting (Sunfish Cellars/I Nonni Minneapolis, MN): Rich with apple, pear, earth, dust and mild oak. Medium finish and picks up some orange peel.
