  • Dark inky color with a purplish rim.

    Fruity nose with chocolates, cola, and cedar notes.

    Full bodied with medium acidity.

    Dry on the palate and elegant.

    Showing blackberries, black plums, cooked cherries, dried figs, cola, cedar, vanilla, spices, espresso, light earth, herbs, tobacco leaf and peppercorn.

    Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

    This 10-year-old is drinking beautifully now. Rich and fruit forward with nice balance and complexity.

    Delicious right now, and at its peak.

    14.5% alcohol by volume.

  • Dark inky in color with a short purple rim.

    Fruity nose that needs 30 minutes of airtime to show itself.

    Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity.

    Dry and very fruity on the palate with nice complexity.

    Showing blackberries, cooked cherries, figs, Indian spices, cedar, cola, vanilla, leather, bitter herbs, tobacco leaf, chocolates, light vegetables and black pepper.

    Long spicy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.

    This 9 year old Cabernet Sauvignon from Columbia Valley is drinking very nicely now. Feels like a Napa Cabernet. Interesting stuff.

    The palate is much nicer than the nose at this point, which surprised me.

    I had this vintage a few years ago, and it looks like it past its peak. Still delicious though.

    I paired it with a T-bone steak and mashed potatoes.

    A blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot and 2% Syrah. Aged for 22 months in (35% new) French oak barrels.

    14.5% alcohol by volume.

    92 points.

  • One hour decant. Cherry at tge rim with bkack fruits predominate Lush with black fruit up front. Full bodied Smooth across the palate with litttor no tannins. Shirt finush but overall in a really nice place
