A wine that makes you stop and appreciate it, but is still a pleasurable experience
This wine is very much on the ascendancy - has not reached a plateau. Acid is present, and tannins that are mostly integrated but not fully. Not rough, or grippy, just not fully integrated. Fruit is beautiful, not overripe, but out front. Some secondary notes, particularly on the nose. If I had another bottle I’d wait 5-8 years on it. Loved the wine.
