New Year's Eve dinner tasting. Brief note. By default the white WOTN as it was the only one, but what a beauty. Nose and palate take you straight to a cabana on the beach. Tropical galore with pineapple and guava followed by canned stone fruits and cantaloupe. Searing acidity comes racing through with streaky mineralité to drive this to a long and complex finish. Gorgeous wine. Seems like its at peak but will hold for quite some time.

Purchased on clearance for $10 at Wallys tent sale, not really knowing what to expect. A golden to yellow color in the glass, with strong aromas of tropical fruit. Clean fruit on the palate with enough acidity to keep it balanced. A bit thin with a short finish, but I was pleasantly surprised by the life left in this bottle.

golden color. nose waxy, stony minerality. Palate chalky, some fruit and acid. Still vibrant and refreshing, amazing QPR (reportedly around $10 on sale). A surprise in many ways.

Sweet, clean fruit; Suffered from being served a bit warm; Nice acid when chilled later
