Decanted, no sediment, and allowed to breathe On the nose this wine displays dusty notes of dark cherry, pomegranate and wild raspberry that come with notes of floral pastilles, baking spices, crushed walnuts, musky sous bois and earthy tones. On the palate the wine is well structured with above moderate, gritty tannins and balanced with juicy acidity and integrated alcohol. Flavors show dark cherry, framboise and cassis notes that come with notes of floral pastilles, anise, baking spices, dusty earth and walnut bitters. The finish is grippy and has length.
Aged 16 months in French oak, bottled unfined and unfiltered

An average, acceptable bottle. On steep discount, I think this was a good value, but overall not a very interesting wine. Limited highlights and an unfortunate combination of austere and plush left it feeling simple and cheap, but it also was solid enough to move through without complaint.

A deep ruby in the glass with a decadent nose full of cassis & cocoa. The pallate brings forward tart pomegranate, hibiscus, with nutmeg & milk chocolate undertones throughout the finish. Not at all what I was expecting from this Pinot, but quite lovely in it's own right. Paired outstanding with an anniversary dinner of pheasant & striped bass ! ($45) [11/12/20]

Black cherry and warm baking spice aromas. Medium bodied, with flavors of black cherry, mineral and earth. Excellent.

Very good pinot, drinking well. Red and black fruit, with some earth and herb flavors.
