  Opened this bottle a bit early - and maybe a bit premature - because of concern over the cork. There was some leakage through the cork, but it apparently did not affect the quality of the wine. I believe that is because the wine is still so young. The nose was serious, hinting at a complex wine. The initial taste was tannic, but with good fruit. The colors were deep and smooth. The finish was creamy and smooth, though a bit tart because of its youth. This is a wine that could age a bit, though I think I will drink the bottles that I recently purchased and had shipped. I might age the one that I carried back from San Diego.
