  Dark violet in color, this wine showed blackberry, menthol and cassis on the nose. The mouth feel was supple with added vanilla, spices and cracked black pepper elements. The finish was medium with the menthol and dark black fruits notes well balanced with the soft tannins. 13% abv.
  
  Purchased for $11US, this is a decent entry level Carmenere. At this price, its an outstanding qpr with no hard edges.
