Very dark color. Herbs and spice on the nose. Overly fruity on attack. Eventually subsides to plum fruit finish with some heavy vanilla/oak characteristics.

Inky color, powerful and spicy on the palate, a little too much so. I almost wanted to blend this with some merlot to smooth it out and make my own poor man's Almaviva. Still, a good QPR - perhaps good to stand up to BBQ.
