Frankly, this was much better than expected. From a 3L, this bottle showed complexity, freshness and balance. Bought at a charity auction with no previous experience with the winery. While it was not up to the standard of the Dujac, it held its own just fine. Most interesting to me was the cote de Beaune like aromatics. Very good showing and drinking well. (91)

A pure Oregon Pinot. Light nose of earth and dark fruit. Soft and elegant, but with a little zest, this has great form and structure. Flavors include a hint of mushroom, a dash of pepper, followed by a shot of sweet, ripe, black cherries that are simply wonderful. Ripe tannins on the moderate finish close out a trully tasty Pinot. Highly recommend for purchase and would let breathe for at least a couple of hours.

WCC Oregon Pinot Noir Tasted Blind (Salty's Pub, Clifton Park, NY): Huge wild cherry nose with very appealing forest floor notes. Complex and appealing in the mouth. Quite Burgundian in style. My favorite wine so far in this tasting.

Traditional ruby color, reserved nose showing some berry fruit and some funk. On the palate depressed fruit and forward tannin.
