Lovely intensity to this wine, with a lot of the good things offered by white Burgundy plus some smoke and salinity. Mouthwatering citrus, moreish and easy to drink. Slightly expensive @ £32, but it's good wine.

This is fantastic and seemingly just developing the complexities of maturity. There is a lovely hint of salty lemon curd and just a little tinge of oak on the palate...it is excellent with food (roasted chicken and also a funky Camembert) but engaging enough to drink by itself. Excellent!

My last bottle of 2016, I am still loving it. It can age more, I am just not sure it will be better. But why hold when it is so good now. Really nice with cheese, dont need to be pungent but needs to be complex. Gruyere, morbier, . ..?

Like a sherry without the oxidative/nuttiness, this is equal parts flinty and smoky and salty; fruit is like preserved lemons, but this wine is really not about the fruit
