  • Pecchenino Zoom tasting. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is clear, deep intensity, purple colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of violets, dark red cherries, ripe strawberry, red grapes. Developing.
On the palate, dry, lovely high acidity, medium+ alcohol, medium tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of dark red cherries, very ripe strawberry, red grapes, cool stony minerality, spice, earth with hint of mushroom. Long linear finish.
Good quality. Nice drinking Barbera d'Alba. Should develop nicely over the next 3+ years.

  • Tradition in the nose to finish today's tasting. Earthy sense of tar, plums, smoky cherries and mushrooms. On the palate showed more modern, concentrated but with good acid to balance the whole obtaining a long, oaky wine.
Pretty good for what it was.
