Beautiful nose, scented flowers, opens to more woody notes. Lovely mouth, open and fresh, dark bitter fruits. Marred by some dry tannins. He used 50% new oak, a bit much for this juice? But delicious and should age a few years.

on day one, mainly tar, wood and tannin. some dark fruit and black licorice. seemed a bit vulgar when compared to the Giacosa Valmaggiore.
