What a beautiful wine! There was a leaker somewhere along the column where this wine was stored, and I’m trying to figure out which one is the culprit. This wasn’t it. If you still have a bottle, you’ve got plenty of time before this wine even hits its peak.
Excellent red fruits and spices wrap around an elegant frame. The structure is delicate, but not “too delicate”. After a long day of staring at SQL and Python code, it was a pleasure to encounter something with such grace and finesse.
Sadly, this was my last bottle of Noel vineyard from BH, and I only have one bottle of any BH left in my cellar after this. Should you come across this bottle, or any Biggio Hamina wine, purchase it with extreme haste, and feel free to invite me over when you open it.

Opened yesterday, saved the remnants under cork for today. Retasting with a light chill, about 65f,. This has some old world features in the aromatic, meaning I get some herb, maybe what might resemble some whole cluster as but seems to be in that aromatic lane. The palate also exhibits some older world fruit qualities, too--sour cherry, herb, tangy acidity. As this warms up, the fruit fattens up with the red jam qualities become more intense. Fascinating kind of transformation as the wine crosses through the temperature spectrum. Overall, I dig this wine as it mixes some complex, older world style with just enough red fruited ripeness. Delicious.

The operative word here is "pretty." Delicate but strong, almost candy-like at times. Notes of sweet cherries. Overall, a lovely, light Pinot Noir, fully integrated but still young. Refined and sophisticated juice. Nice work, Todd!

I like the balance between the acid and the fruit. Nice long finish. Nice berry fruits. Todd did a great job with this wine. Kudos.

Wish I liked this more. Lightly scented nose, angular palate with a little pinot fruit and some earth. Perhaps too young? $90 at Siren.
