  • Sangiovese and marzemino grapes from Veneto with notes of red ripe fruit and some oak in a nice ensemble. Enjoyable, although a little bit one-dimensional.

  • dark color, intense nose of ripe fruit, gentle notes of oak, consistent mouth, with redberries and raspberries, nice texture. Really enjoyable and pleasant athough young and not so complex. High QPR. At Locanda Perinella with RM & team after a tough morning, hoping for the best.

  • As far removed from rustical as you could get for the price
Decanted for 6 hours, once the alcohol vapours were clear, the nose offered lots of ripe berries, particularly sweet cherries, oak and a rich dark tobacco.
Upon drinking wow, amarena cherries, blueberries, tobacco, horse saddle leather, with the second wave consisting of green peppercorns, raisins, spices , the end although not long was full of bitter almonds and aged balsamico.
Very very impressive for the price
Easy to drink on its own, would go brilliant with grilled white meats, rich pasta, cheeses .
See no need for ageing. This is buy to drink, tannins are already soft, subtle and in the background.

  • Intense colour, fruity nose. The taste is dominated by a mix of red fruits followed by a hint of cuberdon (artificial, sweet raspberry) and is a bit rustic. The balance is fine with some nice acidity and modest tannins and clear sweet fruit. It seems to me this wine is designed not to be disliked by anyone. It is lacking some depth and refinement.
