  Monthly Tasting Group HWS #035; Southern Italy. (By RvD): Strange bouquet. A bit musty. Mushrooms. And although this often adds to the complexity, in this case it is meant negative. The taste has the same problem. There is some eucalyptus and peppermint, ripe fruits, soft tannin and bitterness. Impossible to recognize this as a CS, even while I knew that it was. My score is not even that bad, because the wine offered a wide spectrum of tastes. Nevertheless I will not buy this wine again. Even though it is from 2003 this wine is probably too old already.
