90-91 Not your average Merlot, and at £11.99 I would urge all Merlot-sceptics (myself included) to search and find this bin end beauty at your local Majestic 🍷
Nosel: Ripe strawberries smashed together with fresh meringue and vanilla cream. Sweet/sour cranberry on some old oak. Balanced and fresh.
Pal: Full, plush blackcurrant and plum skin attack, mellowing to earthy herbs, creamy texture of oak, med- grainy tannins and a refreshing lick of acidity.
Fin: Long, slight alcohol, leather and earth. Wonderful

Cellar Door Fest (Adelaide): Medium garnet color. Nose of green capsicum and dark berries. Capsicum continues to dominate the palate. Medium finish of capsicum and berry. Low tannin, low acid. Interesting and not bad for US$15 or so on sale. =
