Really improved since last bottle two years ago. Slow ox 30 minutes in glass, served at 68F. Still took at least another 30 minutes to fully open. One of the most elegant wines in the Carlisle lineup. Lovely spice, black cherries and a touch of licorice on the nose. Bright fruit on the palate, more raspberry than black cherry, with more spices and excellent acid balance. Fresh and lively, this appears to be near peak, yet well stored bottles should last another 3-5 years.

Crimson in color. 15% ABV. Heady nose of red fruits, citrus and licorice. Medium body with perfect acidity. Bright, vibrant and juicy. Cherry, pomegranate, blood orange and pepper on the palate. Tremendous length on the finish. Charming Zinfandel with a flavor profile that is unique within the Carlisle portfolio. Really enjoyable. Best over the next several years.

A delicious wine from start to finish. Decanted briefly before drinking. Drank over four days with no noticeable degradation. Lots of deep dark red fruit and a bit of spice. Great mouthfeel.
