  • An entry level Remoissenet white.....I have had better vintages of this in the past, the 2005 and 2010 come to mind ( no notes).
Some believe that this wine contains grapes from declassified growths of this producer.....not so much here.
On nose: faint oak and cardboard .
On palate: follow through of the same, but enhanced, after a one hour decant ,some light minerals and faint vanilla and mild acidity, and bitter lemon pith and tart crab apple....the chardonnay character is fighting to be noted amongst the oak and cardboard .....inoffensive but dull....will not buy again.
