Getting better with a bit more age. Nutty, buttery, mushrooms. Medium finish, medium acidity. Very nice on its own or with roast chicken wrapped in Parma ham

Strikingly more oaked, but we were just drinking Grand Cru Chablis. Very textured and interesting on the palate. The oak is a little bit burnt off the palate, leaving a very limestone texture.

Lovely wine. Good poise. Balanced acidity with a smooth body. Trying to recall a week after drinking so can't remember all the subtleties. But very nice was the conclusion on the night.

Initially quite reductive with notes of struck match and rather obvious oak, the Clos Saint Philibert developed beautifully in the glass. After half an hour it showed much improved and nicely balanced with ripe apples, almonds and just the slightest touch of vanilla. Great mouthwatering acidity and just the right level of extract. Great wine from a great winemaker. Should have many years left in the tank.

Very impressive HCDN--far exceeds it's level. Beautiful acidity, integrated oak. In a good place right now.
