  Opened, not decanted. Dusty garnet in color. First pour showed an unpleasant note of green pepper. I left the glass alone to finish making dinner. About half an hour later, on its own and with dinner, the green note had gone away, revealing a complex bouquet. Notes of plum, fresh herbs, mushroom and leather. The palate disappoints compared to the nose, but it has a nice balance, with red fruit and soft spices and a decent finish.
