Paul Mason brought Latour bud wood back from Burgundy (Corton in the 1890s), then sold his property to Martin Ray. Some made it’s way up to To Kalon and then someone heisted some To Kalon bud wood when the owner said no. And that’s where Hanzell got their original bud wood. ZD also has this same bud wood. Juicy, fruity, cinammon aromas. Silky palate, lots of concentration.
