  • Red fruit and smoke on the nose. Similar to their carneros, it has bright bing cherry fruit with nice acid and hints of allspice or a baking spice of sorts. There is some earth but not alot and has a medium body. The main marked difference is there is slightly better acid and noticably more oak with a drier finish. It may or may not cellar better and its pretty good, but this didnt blow me away for asking price.
