1067 cases produced. Blended with 25% Malbec. Grapes are from a small 30 acre plot on the SW side of Red Mountian. Exotic spice, dark fruit and black licorice aromas with a good balance of oaky barrel accents. Very good.

This is a beautiful wine. Well balanced, solid structure with aromas of blackberry, plum, fresh violets, fresh rosemary, cola and a bit of vanilla. I had been aging this one after purchasing it at the tasting room a couple of years ago but decided to crack it open “early.” It could undoubtedly go a few more years but is drinking SO nicely right now. Absolutely no regrets about not cellaring it as long as I originally intended. The type of wine you just can’t stop swirling and sniffing!
