Vin immédiatement expressif avec des arômes de cerise et d'épices douces. Bouche équilibrée, fraîche, avec une bonne concentration et des tanins soyeux. A boire ou à garder 3-5 ans.

Tasted over 2 hrs -med dark red purple -generous stylish ripe dark pinot fruit mild reduction faint oak -med acidity, med weight nicely concentrated focused ripe but not surmature dark pinot fruit with a faint citrus note adding complexity slightly medicinal, med fine tannins with a bit of oak -on the modern end of the spectrum though still quite nice, drinking well now perhaps a bit of upside

My first of 4 btls. Opened 2-1/2 hrs prior to dinner & chose to slow-ox in Riedel Burgs & btl till dinner. Semi opaque ruby red. I kind of underestimated its youthful structure expecting it to fully resolve by dinner. In spite of some silty tannins there is some early enjoyment to be had with time in the glass and especially, w/ food. Reserved aromatics of roses & faint underbrush. Dark cherry, mineral, spice & more fleeting underbrush. I'll definitely wait till 2026+ for my next one. Needs 10+ from release. 13%alc.

Lunch at Les Amis (Les Amis, Shaw House, Singapore): Such a delightful wine - this has really evolved nicely over the past 9 months since my last bottle. It was a beautiful pairing with duck margret too. I just loved the nose on this, with black cherries and berries, spice and violets, and then a little trail of stony mineral and brambly herb running alongside. A really perfumed bouquet. The palate was still on the youthful side, with fine tannins and bright acidity still lending the wine a little chew, but this was a lot more evolved than the dense, slightly tight bottle from last heat. In fact, that bit of youthful structure aside, this was actually quite pleasingly open and drinking rather well, with juicy cherries and blueberry flavours garlanded with a fragrant wreath of warm spice and earthy mineral trailing away into a neat finish. Transparent, pure and with a lovely sense of midweighted presence - this was a delight to drink. It will continue to improve in the bottle over the next few years as well.

Vinøs hyttetur; 9/30/2022-10/1/2022: Blind. Flott dybde i frukten, noe animalsk-hårete, balansert, noe tannin, ganske mørkt uttrykk.
