7 Days in Italy II; 2/17/2019-2/23/2019: Open tank ferment. 4 years in barrel. 6 years in bottle. Deeper, more earth, as a product of the bottle age. Herbal of the 2013 Camp die Gigli is not apparent here. Still lots of spice for freshness, and some amaro to the finish. But very nuanced. New oak is already melted into it. Nothing too oaky.
On another note, 2018 is a great vintage, 10% over average production.
