  A bit of fading in the color with the wine showing maroon at its core with bricking on the rim. A distinct black cherry on the attack with supporting notes of cola, herbs, forest floor and vanilla that flow across the finish. Cinnamon picks up from the mid-palate and rides high through the finish. With fully resolved tannins, this wine is likely at peak. While it will carry well for the next few years, there is no reason to hold. Drink up. 14.2% alc. With mustard-rosemary crusted pork tenderloin. 01.18.24. Recommended.

  Maroon at the core; red brick on the rim that suggested this may be aging faster than I had thought. Defined black cherry, cola, vanilla on the attack that carries through to the finish. Elements of forest floor develop with some air time and that linger on the finish. The tannins are soft and likely fully resolved making for a smooth mouthfeel. Despite the color, the wine shows no other signs of fading soon. 14.2% alc. With stilton and other assorted cheeses and leftover mushroom sauce on crusty bread. 09.02.22. Recommended.

  Easy drinking pinot noir. We opened, let it sit for an hour and then drank it over 3.5 hours. Red fruit on the nose, the palate was strawberry, cranberry and baking spices. Finish was moderate and smooth.
