Purchased at Costco for $17. Entry level Medoc, drinkable but with no real excitement. Tasted like non-discript California merlot or red blend. With some air, this wine tasted and smelled of cherries. No secondary aromas or tastes. Tannins were coarse. Finish medium length. No different on day 2, after overnight refrigeration.

Paired with Indian take-out surprisingly well. Decanted in glass.

Way too tight, and bitter even after 3 hr decant.

Russk. $13 from Costco. Too tight. Ultimately dumped.
