1st of 12 bottles. Paired with a ribeye steak, at the beach. Lovely Medoc wine, showing off gritty tannins, black cherry and plum, graphite and soil. The acidity keeps this bold wine quite refreshing. Very nice, drink through 2032+.

Popped and poured. The best $12 Bordeaux I have ever tasted? If not, it’s darn close. Excellent color and viscosity, a distinctive nose, and cocoa-like flavor. Drinking beautifully. 5-11-16-8: 90/100. (Looking at VM’s review, I agree this has a Pessac-Leognan feel to it.)

I agree with the two previous reviewers. The wine improved over a few days, going from 90- to 90+. Showing soft fruit and some earth and a touch of tertiary notes. 13.5%. Good QPR at $14G.

Adjusting my rating slightly... It is still a great wine, but I over scored previously due to the QPR. Certainly worth a try for the price, previous review is a good one.

Versatile and thoroughly enjoyable, lovely with bolognese. Nothing especially notable but it’s still young. Excellent QPR.
