  Opened with a slight biodynamic funk, cherries, leather, sandalwood. Mouthfeel round, fruity (black rather than red) with chewy tannins. Colour is dark Cab Sauv in the middle but lighter red typically Sangiovese rim. Punchy, fruit forward with big nose and long slightly anise finish.

  D+0h: no deposit in the filter nor in the bottle, smells of sweet cherry D+4h: dark as ink, on the rim slightly purple red, smells of smoke, leather and blackberry, smooth in the mouth, has a certain residual sugar, so not completely dry, medium body, in the mouth blackberry and sour cherry with a hint of smoke in the background, in the aftertaste sour cherry, smoke and acidity, good length (30 sec), good red wine, but a bit pricey for what it delivers.

  This is a delicious “super”Tuscan
  Sangiovese / Cab blend that showcases the best of Sangiovese
  Multilayered nose and palate with dark berries and red cherries and rose petals interlaced with balsamic notes and black olives and hints of orange rind evoking a good Brunello. Rich mouth feel due to well rounded tannins. Nice finish that keeps you wanting more
