Translucent, brillant ruby with golden hues at outer edge. Lower viscosity. Nose of fresh forest floor, roses, almost some smokiness.
Medium light body. mouth coating, very fine tannins. No heat from ABV - everything in beautiful balance.
Dried cherries, warmfruits. Not tremendous amount of earth/forest/tertiary elements on palate. Savory/soy comes forward beautifully with time in glass/since open. Nice, long finish.
Delicious wine!

Hmm. Not particularly distinctive, either for its style or as an example of the vineyard/village. On the nose, just a touch flat; nothing really visible except a touch of soft red/black fruit. Maybe this btl wasn't given enough time to open? On the palate, good acidity, and nicely textured. This probably suffered the most from lack of a good food pairing.

Moss and undergrowth, savory more than fruit driven, with some cherry fruit and violet on the nose. On the palate, it's finely textured, supple, and detailed. Overall a pretty, understated, more savory than fruit driven wine. A little woodsy on the back end. Very enjoyable if not profound.

This is delicious. Fully mature. Tannins are resolved. Lovely sweet Chambolle fruit. A real pleasure.

This bottle was advanced, but still good. Tannins are fully resolved. Lovely sweet red fruits. Refined and elegant. Time to drink these.
