Five hour slow ox. Very deep dark magenta color. Tart black cherry, cinnamon, fig, scorched vanilla, coffee grounds, along with subtle mint and cola, on the rich nose. Dry, velvety palate, with smooth acidity. Full, round tannins on the medium long finish.
This has improved dramatically since the last bottle I tried 6 months or so ago. All aspects are in sync and this is an awesome blend. Just letting the wine breathe in the bottle for a few hours totally opens it up.

PNP. Nearly opaque magenta color. Plum, blueberry, raw sugar cookie dough and olive tapenade on the nose. Smooth, dry, herbal palate with good acidity. Full, round tannins on the medium long finish.
I didn’t enjoy this bottle as much as the last for some reason. It felt more manipulated.

Opened, but pushed cork partly back in and then drunk seven hours later. Nearly opaque ruby magenta color. Maple syrup, blackberry, mint leaf and subtle bacon on the nose. Very smooth, dry palate with good acidity. Round tannins on the medium finish.
