Tasting black currant fruit, eucalyptus, cinnamon, and a wonderful kicky spice. There is a lot of complexity in this wine and a very long full finish. Lovely wine and a great blend.

A delicious cab franc primary blend from Daou. The tannins are still pretty tight and it can still be held for a few more years before I have my other bottle.

A bit early, but still wonderful. Pulled the cork and started drinking immediately - decanted the remainder. Nose was leaning toward medicinal, but with time, there is goodness under there. On the palette, still somewhat closed. Dark fruits, leather, chocolate with a long finish of tannins and mouthwatering acid. Thinking this will be in its prime in 3-5 years, but can cellar much longer.
