Red fruited wine that shows good energy and some spiciness. Good with food. Well made but nothing special or exciting. Definitely shows Howell Mountain characteristics. Not a great buy at $90 but decent for auction pricing in the $50 range.

blackberry, plum, bramble, cocoa, sweet oak, scorched earth, and black currant.
craig 15's are waking up and starting to really be great. these wines are well balanced, have good acid, and honestly the press doesn't like them as much but for those who know, these wines will probably beat many in a brown bag years on. great stuff.

Lots of fruit, lots of acidity. I think this will be incredible with more of a chance to breathe. Still very luscious and powerful.

Deep ruby colour.
Medium plus intensity on the palate with earth, blackcurrant, raspberry, cedar, chocolate and wet rocks.
Medium plus intensity on the palate. High acidity / tannins / alcohol, full body, long finish.
Enjoyable wine with good length, intensity and complexity.
