mild but perceptible cork taint. less structure than the one I had 2 yrs ago. still enjoyable but lost some of its magic. lovely acidity and still smooth enjoyable tannins.

Caymus in the house y’all. Ultra ripe and luxurious. These had structure at release but that has faded. Still very tasty but not serious or interesting wine. I had the same impression this year with the To Kalon.

Showed up the 2017 Macdonald it went up against, which is insanely high praise. Ready to go from PNP, it gets even better with a few hours of air.
