Glossy aromas of boysenberry jam, cassis, sage and black pepper. Medium to full bodied with medium(+) tannin, medium acid, flavors of boysenberry and tar and a dry finish. Good with potato salad ... ??? ... I don’t know why but it was good with potato salad. Enjoy over the next 2 to 3 years.
A bit thin, with the alcohol present on the second day. 88 -> 87.
