Shared with some wine geek friends. Totally blown away by this auslese! Beeswax, candied apple, Mandarin orange and lemon peel. Vibrant acidity that lingers on the palate. Such great balance, can’t wait to see how this ages!

A journey through Martin Müllen's Riesling wonderland (Diergardts "Kühler Grund", Hattingen, Germany): What a nose! Beeswax, quince, yellow ripe stone fruit, saffron and a hint of the best wild honey. On the palate this Auslese impress even more. Super clear, precise and elegant. Acidity through the roof but in the perfect play with the sweetness. Super high in extract. This wine feels like the total essence of the Hühnerberg in 2010. Incredible long finish. This is a true stunner and (like Dirk said it before) the WOTN. So much potential left. 95+

A journey through Martin Müllen's Riesling wonderland (Diergardts Kühler Grund, Hattingen, Germany): Golden yellow color. Nose with lots of ripe quice, herbs and slate. Very nice. Sweetness is perfectly buffered by the extreme, but ripe and perfectly integrated acidity. Lots of ripe fruit, rhubarb, vanilla. Very focused, complex and with enormous pressure. Veery long. Awesome wine with a potential of 20+ years. Certainly my WOTN. 95+
