Imagine one of the good Mirabeau roses, with some bubbles and better acidity, this is how I felt the bottle. Not bad but I prefer the non-bubbly version of Provencal roses.

I saw Tom Cannavan review this the other day, so thought I'd try a bottle. Nice presentation in keeping with the delicate colour - palest pink, like cherry blossom. Light, sweetish, floral nose with faint cherry and raspberry. Only semi-sparkling on the tongue, and semi-sweet. A hint of bitterness but this fades. Not too bad, but rather too delicate for its own good - while it's pretty to look at, for the price it packs rather too little character. Still eminently drinkable. [Composite cork + cage; 11.5% abv; Waitrose, £13.99].

Salmon pink, dull spritz and a muted red berry notes and a bone dry, sharp, red berry flavours. Frankly, it’s a bit underwhelming.

Delicate rose patisserie nose; lovely flavour on the palate, very much it’s own style. Dry finish. Nice mousse. Would be good with food or without.
