PnP, this is suspiciously young and bright. How much new wines were mixed to the blend before release? Especially considering a recently drunk 1969 Perrieres, this wine is missing some of that richness and tension that usually spark with age. Stuff in the glass is very good, large, impactful. 93?

I know some people question the source of these older Maison Leroy bottles but there is no question this is amazing. Opened up 2 hours prior to service this was showing well from the beginning. Light yellow in color. There is a wonderful floral perfume, almost puligny-like. The taste profile is at the same time aged and youthful. The minerality and acidity is just right and everything is in wonderful balance. Drinking well now and no danger of decline any time in the next decade. A great bottle.

Really an incredible wine. Late release Charmes from Lalou. Guessing this was released around 2009. Color is fantastic. Not dark at all. Plenty of energy and left life in this wine. Lemons, some baking spices, good minerality, acidity still there and structure in tact. Hints of oxidation but not at all what you'd expect from a 50 year old white Burg. Overall a great experience.

The oldest wine and also the most youthful wine on the table tonight. So much flint and sulfur on the nose but in a lovely they don’t make this like they used to way. There is just such fine purity and balance to this wine and it actually became more youthful as the night wore on. Tied for my #2 tonight.

Labor Day Burgundy Insanity at Paulee du Hersh 9/1-2/18 (Denver, CO): Gorgeous minerality and light color. Served blind I would guess this was much younger. I did notice that it faded after about 30 min, suggesting it might be time to drink up.
