Tobbacco, dried cherries, and green peppers. The palate flavors are much like the nose. The mouth feel is smooth and has a complete feel to it. Overall the medium weight and rustic flavors make this and enjoyable treat. As it opened over 3 hours it became a very nice bottle to sip especially considering it was not overly modern in style.

Wow...Bought this wine on a recommendation from a local wineshop. So glad I did. Great medium weight chianti. no flaws. Great mouth-feel. Will be buying more if its still available.

Enticing nose, with ripe, meaty fruit--berries and currants--together with a hint of eucalyptus. Medium-bodied, with chewy tannins and a long, fruit and vanilla finish. Best after 2005. 5,000 cases made. (Wine Spectator) 90 Pts WS

Green olive and dark plum aromas and flavors, with slightly gritted tannins and a finish dominated by plums and eucalyptus.
