Typical strawberries, raspberries and spices but also hints of toffee. Clean with very little earthiness and bitterness. Complex and balanced. A bit thin both on the nose and palate. A top PN from Marlborough but I definitely prefer those from central otago and Martinborough.

Great QPR, well made, more fruit/oak than French but nothing like a typical California wine, a nice middle ground. Well made, lovely bouquet. Bright, fresh.

Pinotpalooza (Carriageworks, Redfern): slightly funky and cheesy initially with toasted black fruits - especially berries and currants. The fruit caries to the palate joined by plenty of spice and a soft tannic burr. Fresh. Okay
