Beautiful light yet pure red color, somewhat light style, very enjoyable. Much better than some other Siduris. Hints of earth, rhubarb, cranberry, slight bit of strawberry. Unlike many other good pinots, no black cherry. Very well balanced acidity, mostly dry. Perfect age now.

This was quite elegant. It has more of an earthy tone, with less acidity and bite than I find from some other styles, and this is welcome. This is reserved, a bit laid back and not the most concentrated or over-the-top; quite appealing.

Post-Thanksgiving dinner. Pale ruby color. Offers strawberry and cranberry, smoke, brown sugar, dried herbs and a hint of gamey funk. Elegant and delicate, smooth medium-light body, with strawberry and brown sugar on the palate, with a hint of spice and funk in the finish. Regretting that I didn't pick up a few more of these.

2021: Top Ten Wines; 1/1/2021-12/31/2021 (Redwood City, CA): 45m of air for this Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir. Deep ruby color. Offers strawberry and dried cranberry, gun smoke, leather and a hint of oak. Medium bodied, smooth and succulent on the palate. Red fruit and some hints of citrus, with some earthiness in the lingering finish, enveloped by broad, rounded tannins. Elegant, with just enough funk to raise it above the ordinary.

Smoke, earth and red fruit on the nose. Med finish with a little spice. Nice PN but < QPR...
