Medium amber color. Dense, sweet nose of orange and honey. The palate is similarly deep and rich, with dried apricot flavors, sweet spices (think cinnamon-sugar) and the mouth-coating flavor and texture of honey, There's not too much acidity remaining on this, but it is delicious now and should be enjoyed without hesitation. Not as epic as some of the other Kracher cuvées, though still very pleasing.

The most peculiar thing happened when this was served. It had been in an ice bucket for about 30 minutes prior to opening and serving. The first glass poured out was darker than the rest. Taste and aroma was same/similar.
I found this to be complex and delicious. Quite sweet but enough acidity to balance things out. Exotic nose of apricot, pear, lychee, spices, dried orange peel; flavors of apricot, peach, spices, pineapple. Long, long finish.

Very ordinary, more raisin than apricot. It wasn’t terrible, but lacked anything positive. A bit syrupy, but not overly sweet.

Jamet Côte-Rôtie and Other Northern Rhône with Steak (Jordan's Place): Intensely perfumed, just too much for me. Very good weight and length, with lots here if Traminer is your thing.

Excellent dessert wine. Great balance. Not too sweet. Nose of an aged Riesling. Apricot and petrol on the palate.
