  • A nice surprise on our first ever try if this wine ( and producer) and felt quite the nice number. Richer, rounder and well brioche feel of a wine, polished and with a soft touch of an oxidative feel. Very good across and a fine discovery. 92

  • Disgorged 9-2015 Medium gold color. Toasty/nutty nose, Intense and saline in the mouth. This hasn't really matured as much as I would have expected. This is a precise impression of blanc de blancs. 91

  • A strange BdB. The color is clear straw on the light side. Very modest bubbles. The nose is strange, almost a bit unclean, at first dominated by reductive tones of sour socks (!) and sulphur/burnt matchsticks. The aromas are not dampened much in the glass, so even the last sip displays the same aromas. The mouth is very fresh, on the citrusy side, fine but rather modest mousse. Fine length, but quite monotone in the flavor profile: citrus and grape. Given the price, this is just too boring. Many producers offer Bdbs with better quality at 2/3s of the price of this one. An "off" bottle?

  • Pronounced nose intensity with notes of toast, apple, bread, yeasty. High acidity.

  • This might have been exposed to some heat or light, grabbed at the LWS to pair with lunch. Good, not great, a bit tired, hopes were higher. Disgorged 06/18. Quite broad and yeasty, rich, oxidation kicks in quickly. Tasty enough, just missing some energy / drive
