  • Writing this from memory...oh, no! But if you can recall a wine and its aspects that is about the best comment you can make. Yes, thsi was very nice with just a touch too much grapefruit (but has really mellowed over time)the rest of the fruit (citrus) flavors were on target. I believe Pam Starr knew this would happen, so wait! The finish was long lasting (like I said doing this from memory). Drinking well now and will be better in another year or 2.

  • This straw colored wine (100% Sauvignon Blanc) was partially barrel fermented in neutral French oak. Like its 2016 sibling, it has an aromatic profile that flaunts scents of chamomile, rose petals and chervil, accented with notes of tangerine and melon. Light-bodied, freshly acidic and with seamless alcohol (14.4%), it has excellent mid-palate density and delivers flavors that mirror the nose. The back end is medium in length and has whiff of oak. This is another iteration of Crocker & Starr Sauvignon Blanc that will be most enjoyed by those who favor the herbal side of the grape. Drink now-2020.
